Your Calendar Widget is a versatile widget that allows you to keep track of your upcoming Google Calendar events. Compatible with the homescreen, lockscreen, and notification bar, this widget offers a customizable experience tailored to your preferences. With individual configuration settings for each widget, you can easily manage multiple widgets with distinct calendar and display options.

Permissions:

• Read Calendar: Required permission to display your calendar events in the widget
• Access your device Storage: Required permission to read and write widget backups. On Android P and higher, this permission is also necessary to show your wallpaper in the widget settings preview
• Contacts: Required permission to view birthday and anniversary information from your contacts. Additionally, it is needed to read your account information for task display

Task Integration:

Take advantage of the Task Integration feature to display and manage Google Tasks and Microsoft To Dos in the widget. You can create new tasks or mark existing tasks as complete, with support for subtasks.

Google Reminders:

Unfortunately, the widget cannot display Google Reminders due to the absence of an API provided by Google to access this data.

Microsoft Outlook:

If you wish to view your Outlook calendar in the widget, follow these steps to enable Outlook calendar synchronization:

1. Open the Outlook App
2. Access settings (click on the top left Outlook icon, then select the settings icon at the bottom)
3. Select your account from the Mail Accounts section
4. Enable calendar synchronization in Account Settings

Widget is not updating or events are not appearing in the widget:

If you encounter issues with event visibility or widget updates, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Disable power-saving options and restart your device
2. Ensure calendar synchronization is enabled in the Google Calendar App
3. Synchronize calendar data: open the Google Calendar App and select Refresh from the menu entry (repeat multiple times if necessary)
